Police arrests Bobrisky in Lagos

He was nabbed Thursday morning in Lekki, Lagos State. Okuneye was arrested by a team of policemen from Abuja over alleged disagreement with a woman over a yet to be disclosed transaction involving N30m. The police trailed Bobrisky and stopped the white Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) he was driving. They introduced themselves and took him to a Police station around Lekki. Thereafter, Bobrisky was taken to the Lagos State Police Command.

Yakubu Gowon declared war on people of the Southeast. BNYL explained that “Gowon’s failure to implement the Aburi Accord and refusal to stop the killing of people from the South-east led to the Biafra war.” The group’s National Leader, Princewill Chimezie Richard made the remark in a message he signed and sent to DAILY POST to mark this year’s Biafra Day celebration. Richard also debunked claim that the first coup was an Igbo coup adding that “history has it that there are other active participants in that coup that were not Igbo even though the person who led and executed the coup was a Delta State-born Chukwuma Nzeogwu”. Children’s Day: Nigerian govt gives update on reopening of schools Secretary to the government of the federation, Boss Mustapha, on Wednesday said the Federal Ministry of Education will soon issue guidelines for the reopening of schools in the country. Boss Mustapha made this known during Wednesday’s daily briefing by the COVID-19 task force. Recall that the Lagos State government had explained that it does not have the authority to unilaterally order the  reopening of schools  in the State. The state Commissioner for Education, Folashade Adefisayo during an online programme, ‘Covinspiration show,’ had said the State was meeting with officials of the Federal Ministry of Education to draw up guidelines ahead of reopening of schools.
